Change the World
There’s so much poverty in the world that it’s hard to know where to start, right?
That may be so, but it is possible to make a huge difference in the life of just one person, or even a family. And it’s not all about money. Building relationships with people who need a friend is a great place to start. That can happen right in your own neighborhood.
If you want to make a difference outside your home, going on a missions trip with your church is one way to invite God to speak to you about what is happening in the world. Living in Canada, we often don’t see the “big picture”; other people don’t live with the same comforts that we do. Traveling to another part of the world not only opens your eyes, but it makes you more thankful for what we have here at home. But before you leave the country, read the book “Serving with Eyes Wide Open”, by David Livermore.
